So what is Pintrest?!?!!
Basically it is a site that you create your own profile, and you have multiple boards - Each board is given a name and a category that you choose.... and when you see pictures on the internet that fall under a particular category... you pin it, and it will go on your virtual board.... or
when you are logged onto pintrest other "pinners" boards are up and you can "repin" their pins onto your boards where you feel it interests you..
So in short, its a place of inspiration and is Image based... I love how I can get inspiration by just going on the site for a few minutes, although my longest Pintrest visit was a Saturday from 8PM until 3:30 Am ... PROBABLY THE BEST 6 hours ever.... I don't regret any of those minutes.
Pintrest is one of those places that you can just pin, pin, pin and re-pin and fill your mind with beautiful photos....
I love that a lot of creative people are pinning.. I think it adds to a sense of community..
Here are 3 of my favorites that stood out tonight....Some of these put me into a creative moment, and inspire me to create, and the last one just leaves me silent and pondering...
Being an owner of a Scrapbooking store, I am fortunate to meet so many different people, who all have different stories... Each of these stories, are so dear and intimate. I feel so blessed when given the opportunity to see the visual stories that are being cherished
2. I love the colours of this piece, it truly is wall art, love the different sizes of oragami swans
and the colour gradient, it is so simple, but breath taking...
3. Before I die I want to... This picture stood out to me tonight, because it reminded me of a
a local company in Winnipeg ... And really it's more than a company, it is a man who is a fighter.
The companies name is " Before we die" you may have seen some clothing on ppls backs within the community or possibly on the news...
His story....
Steven Louis Maryniuk was diagnosed with brain cancer,
in a matter of moments his life changed, when he was told he had "twin tumors" he has kept an amazing outlook and has been an inspiration to many... I have never met him, Ive seen the clothing in passing, and all I can do is stop, dead in my tracks and think of the simple honest words "Before we die"

So the questions remains, what would I do before I die?!?!...
I want to live, live creative and free, and enjoy the special moments in time; life's moments.
What do you want to do?
I too am addicted to Pintrest! It is so amazing all the inspiring things you can find on there!
